So Obama announced they've surpassed 8 million signups, crushing the CBO's expectations. 35% under the age of 35, which is great news for the mix of those being enrolled. And that's a day after the CBO announced that costs for the ACA will be over 100 billion lower because premiums were lower than expected.

Basically, it appears the ACA is doing what it claimed it would do and is doing it better than expected. Also, worth noting, it's basically mimicked Romneycare in terms of enrollment and mix to a T. I guess what works in Mass can work everywhere else. GO FIGURE.

Well, imagine that. I said that too: if this is truly the apocalypse, then why hasn't Massachusetts sunken into the Earth in a massive, molten crater?

And let's not forget the architect of that apocaplypse: the Romster, who then tried to run away from his accomplishment because suddenly the conservative-created mandate magically became socialist tyranny when adopted by the black Kenyan Muslim Hitler.

I saw some guy being confronted in a town hall yesterday about why the GOP didn't have a plan and he admitted as much and that's all anybody needs to know. The GOP had no plan, they have no plan, even recently they've pathetically said they're going to need to create a plan and that will take time... all more stalling and goalpost moving because they don't want a plan--they want healthcare for people who can AFFORD it because it's a privilege and not a right (just like Jesus teached) and if you can't afford it it's because you're not a Rugged Individual. You're a leech looking for handouts from Rugged Individuals.

The easiest way to defeat an idea (and the ACA is hardly a great idea) is to have a better one. Governing by simply trying to assassinate the other person's ideas while having none of your own... isn't governing.

The reason why the GOP doesn't have a plan is simple. There is no plan that exists that does the things that the ACA covers (pre-existing conditions, community rating) without looking like the ACA. Every time they try to create a plan that does similar things to the ACA, it looks like the ACA so they scrap it.

It's either go back to the previous way, which was horrible, or this because the GOP will never propose single payer.
