except that paper summary doesn't say anything about a cultural shift, only points out trends in migration so local communities can better handle low-income latinos. which, being from this area, means puerto ricans and mexicans who work the farms. hardly a demographic shift, considering it's been like that for the last 50 years with no noticeable difference in culture.

you can't just keep repeating the title of that article prompt as evidence.

no one is denying latinos immigrate here, or that they haven't contributed to the culture at large. we're denying that the culture of the US is being fundamentally altered by it. if anything, latinos have an easier time than anyone else assimilating into the US.
