Again, it should be obvious. For 200 years, it didn't matter if you were educated, you were still a slave. Jim Crow wasn't much better. For 300 years there has been little to no value in being educated and black in the us. The last 50 years, yea institutional quality. But no one should expect a culture like that can be completely rolled back in 50 years.

Saz was being too limited. Some stuff happened after slavery thst was pretty bad too.
The ability of black people to accumulate advantages many of us take for granted was seriously hampered by several centuries of the most brutally repressive racist regime perhaps in history. This isn't really debatable.

I don't believe in affirmative action.
I believe in a national guaranteed income, taxpayer-funded universal post-secondary education and ending the War on Drugs. Such policies benefit everyone regardless of race, class or culture.
