What am I explaining again?
My point was that you just don't wave a wand and say abracadabra and now we're cool bro, when it comes to our history with black people. Like so many people, like five of the Supremes, want to do. I already outlined the whole "colorblind" gambit.
In fact, I'd even argue we're heading right back towards that because one political party in particular just cannot stay away from blowing the dog whistle so loud and so often that it's like we're moving back to pre-1960s America. Yeah, I'm sure that non-stop assault over all media about how lazy black people are killing the economy means that they'll get a fair shake when it comes to admissions and job hirings.
That said, Professor has it right in that the main problem is their f***ked economic situation and we compound that by giving them few quality educational opportunities from the start.
