So today a friend of mine lost her job because she got busted on a Police Underage Selling sting. Surprised the shit out of everyone because she is so diligent and even the other clerk couldn't believe the stinger was 19. Me, I was always a bitch about IDs when I was in retail. I didn't care how old you were, WY law says you must have your ID on your to purchase, period, and I never give people crap for carding me at 46. Hell, Utah, requires scanning of IDs in bars and I was refused service once because my card had expired, It was still my DL and I was 42 and I was buying my 21 yr old a birthday drink, but I was booted.

Anyhow, the first thought that came to my mind was this thread and my thought was.....
A person sells alcohol/tobacco to an minor and they get a huge fine($750 I believe) along with a criminal record, lose their job and will have a helluva time getting another job. A cop kicks in the door of an innocent person's home and shoots them dead because somebody got the address wrong and they get a few weeks of paid vacation(suspension), keeps their job and a bunch of other cops telling the press that the poor dudes were askeered and DESERVE/ARE OWED forgiveness.
That is kinda f**k up.
