LOL I'm all for it.
I heard an interview with a guy who toured the world visiting universities to investigate binge drinking.
He found that when you went to places where the drinking age was 18 (or younger), you didn't see the kind of trainwrecks you do here because alcohol wasn't "taboo" or a cool vice.
Plus it's absurd that you can go have your legs blown off in Iraq but you can't buy a beer here legally. That is f***ed up with a capital F.

The pot thing is just astounding for its stupidity.

Advocating lowering the drinking age and legalizing most drugs, would win a lot of votes. But if we are on the subject of increasing the liberty to do things, why not lower the voting age to 16, if you can have sex then surely you can vote.
