I wish I could. Though pre - tax contributions are probably best for me since my marginal rate is a f**k ing crime against humanity.
They should factor in student loans when setting these policies re taxes, who can contribute to what, etc. For this generation income is in no way representative of financial status.

Defined benefit pensions are ludicrous and shouldn't exist. Retirees should get paid based on how much money is in the system, not based on the rosy assumptions of 12% gains YoY compounding forever.
ROTH IRAs seem almost too good to be true. I think many people underestimate them and if you have more than 20 years until retirement it makes sense over a traditional IRA even if you are 40 and your marginal rate is high.
