frankly, part of me thinks that the african and south american jungles were too harsh for the time period. are you having blocks to their colonization (similar to vicky?)

one thing i don't like about how they have to move the americas up is they end up making minneosta "arctic" because if we were that for north we probably would be. it also makes for too easy colonization of south america, among other problems. but that's paradozing problem

do you have that three-bishopric province that mieu and taxes has? it looks like you might and it's kinda ugly

oh, also, did you see they are upping in the next major patch local trade power? constantinople gets +20 local power, all rivers now + 10. and scorch earth costs 5mp, lasts 5 years, totally buffed all around, also increases defensiveness of province, lowers max supply. a good estimation of irregular warfare

i'm adding a lot more native american nations, i intend on making them stronger and more aggressive, and the ease at which european powers can colonize is being nerfed into oblivion. i want to increase the cost of wiping out tribes by a shitload of military power so european nations are basically forced to occupy every single colony or they will lose them 90% of the time. and colonies in jungle regions are going to get an extra penalty, somehow.

i agree that mp cost to hunt down and kill all the natives is far too low. the provincial areas are huge. i would make it cost a lot and it would kill some but likely not all, but for sure decrease ferocity. perhaps have ferocity of indians playing a bigger part in reducing settler growth

could actually add something like that in, similar to how i plan on doing the black death. don't know about a permanent lose in base tax though. that's too much of a pain in the ass to balance. maybe like five different flags get applied to a province, and every 20 years one is removed, so more basetax. a century of "disease" is punishment enough i think.

oh, we want to redesign how battles work too. it's kind of silly how 3000 tercios can obliterate 30,000 aztecs and stupid things like that. it'll also get rid of the awful point in the game where one nation gets guns and suddenly no one can hurt them. but guns are still gonna be good.

in the byzantine mod whatever it's called everything is like +.05 tactics, each level, or whatever. so then it's smooth. i do think guns deserve a bigger bump though
