I dont know if you guys know the story on how Young became a Titan. Actually it plays into how organizational clarity can screw your team for a decade.
Fisher and Shanahan are pretty good friends and Fisher was set on Cutler after reviewing the QBs with Shanahan (Lienhart, Young, Cutler). Norm Chow was the star coordinator brought in by the Titans who had some pull and wanted Lienhart that led to a rift that eventually sent Chow packing, and the night before the draft the war room was set on Cutler. Come the next morning, Bud Adams came in like a boss hog and demanded VY. Shortly after that pick the Broncos traded up to get Cutler.
Today the Titans are without a QB, Fisher was fired and Adams is dead with the shittiest roster in the league. Who will be in play for Jamis Winston or Mariota if they dont take Bridgewater this year. Instead they could have had a franchise QB that would have drawn in FAs and would have been a great fit with the WRs they have now (Hunter, Wright). Jeff Fisher would have still been in TENN, the team would have been in the playoff hunt every year and maybe won something.
