Jesus lived 2000 years ago. His words were recorded 100 years later, 1900 years ago, and have been translated a thousand times over the centuries. And somewhere along the way half of the New Testament just got thrown in the trash for no good reason.

I am saying that acts of charity is what Jesus was talking about. Govt redistribution of wealth is not acts of charity. I didn't say it was right or wrong I said it wasn't his message that government should do this. It's that you should. He said the government do it's thing it's not important or relevant. What is important and relevant is you making your own sacrifices for others. Im an atheist btw
