Not only about how a managerial consultant works (ie it is bad practice to make those decisions without consulting the store manager, except in certain situations like this one) but about the actual specifics of the situation (being a mediocre employee or retarded is not grounds to be fired without following the Corporate approved policy, which generally requires a series of escalations prior to termination, clear attempts to work with the employee to improve behavior etc).

So, yes, you're dumb. Really dumb. About as dumb as a minimum wage employee who would call a corporate officer to complain about their bosses boss.

Of course the VP was annoyed. Its why the usual procedures weren't followed and why that particular employee was let go immediately. It's like you go out of your way to be dumb.

If a restaurant chain were to fire employees simply for being retarded, there would be no one available to work. This isn't a high level job. We aren't talking about people getting paid hundreds of thousands to perform at their peak at all times. It's almost as if you have no idea what you are talking about, you are just eager to come in here and act like a prick for the lulz. "Just fire them all derp, that way a bad situation can be resolved by closing down due to staffing shortages ~~~~"
