So Wyoming & Utah are both considering bringing back the firing squad after recent controversy over lethal injections.
The move was prompted, elected members said, by the drought in lethal injection drugs caused by a pharmaceutical boycott of US death chambers.

Do you think this is a good thing, or should these states just abolish the DP altogether?
I think lethal injections will soon be a thing of the past, but it's rather disappointing that they just want to find a different way to kill their citizens.

you can still request firing squad though in those states, it's not like it's novel

Can I request that the man who passes the sentence swings the sword? I'd go for that though with most of these frail old judges it would probably be a pretty sloppy and painful death.

the only thing that is inhumane about firing squad is that the people actually shooting have to live with staring another human in the eye and shooting him while he's tied up to a post.
