why is it okay for me to blame video games on "rape culture" but i can't blame social media / plenty of fish / facebook for the divorce rate going upwards of 50% , people deciding not to get married. there actually IS a no marriage culture

Most sociologists tend to think the decline of marriage rates is more about men feeling it's not necessary. Since wives were homemakers in previous generations but now both men and women have careers, what's the real difference between a spouse and a long term significant other?

I Mean, as a guy, for instance I know there are certain places that I don't need to go at night. I know where not to park when I go to the club, etc. I mean, if I walked down the ghetto at 2am in the morning and I got mugged and shot, most people would say, damn that's messed up.. but what in the hell were you doing in the hood at 2 am lol? They'd have a pretty valid argument. I know better.


I'm not saying by any stretch rape is okay. It's detestable. I don't respect men who force themselves on women whatsoever. But emerald, would you not agree that alot of these situations are avoidable? Why can't you tell a woman" what in the hell were you doing X"? Why is so wrong to do that? you can't do that in america without being called a misogynist, a woman hater or whatever.
