Oh no, maneuver warfare is more than a brand - it refers to a pretty well-developed set of military theories and tactics, such as combined arms, depth of battle, focus more on isolation rather than destruction of enemy troops, mobility and supremacy of intelligence.
I agree that the "grand strategy" is what you describe, but that is why I wondered if you were maybe confusing terms.
