You must be getting mad, considering the way you're ramping up the insults. I honestly just think your proposed direct democracy system is not very well hashed out and as such you have bizarre things like an undemocratic representative body still hanging around in your system.

I'm not insulting you. You can't be held responsible for the failings of your state or counties education system. Using a word in the sense it was used two thousand years ago suggests that you are unfamiliar with social science terminology past the 1940s. Not your fault at all.

In any case, my proposal was to replace the lower house with a hybrid representative-direct democracy system. It never attempted to rectify every issue with the government. Although I encourage you to get behind it and then use your newfound powers to pursue the reforms you'd like to see.

It's not their elections which are undemocratic. It's the body itself.

It is democratically elected and makes decisions according to majoritarian principles. That is democratic. Each state has the same amount of power, ie. one state two votes. Also democratic.

It is designed to represent States, not people. So it treats each state equally and allows them two votes each.
