Ya know.
we could easily stay within the intent of the 2nd and greatly mitigate deaths by gun violence if we allowed people to own long-arms (yes even "military style" scary ones) and put greater restrictions on hand-guns.
this:
is statistically a zillion times deadlier than this:
that is, if curbing gun violence while maintaining the integrity of our rights was the actual goal and all.
