i was more of making a comment that they are becoming like EA. who makes their games shittier on purpose?

I am enjoying Destiny, but only in PvE mode. I have simply come to hate PvP shooting games.
Why do all PvP shooting games (Halo, Call of Duty, etc.) devolve into "run as fast as you can, straight into the teeth of the opposing player, see who can pull the trigger the fastest, die, reswpan; repeat 200x per match"?
I MUCH prefer to creep up on enemies, develop a tactical advantage (high ground, cover, etc.), then selectively engage targets without taking much/any damage. In other words, I play them just like I would in real life. Who would just run straight at someone in a real battle?

Personally, I think the call of duty gameplay style, and Halo, to a degree, (slow movements, quick deaths, healing by taking cover, and precision fire view...all concessions because of the limitations of handheld console controllers) have ruined FPS gaming. Its sloooow, dumbed down, and boring.
But that's just me. I think the same approach makes for a better single player experience, even if multiplayer is lacking.
I just don't game that much anymore. Haven't been into FPS stuff in years.

Just picked up A Link Between Worlds so I have something to do with a month off. So far it's been a fun game.

What A timely thread. Xbox One or PS4, it's the holiday season and I've resolved to live a healthier lifestyle so I will be purchasing one soon. I like shooters, sports (madden, fifa) and racing games.
