Yeah I watched some of it..

Hockey playoffs are funny, many times the better team doesn't win... Kings won the cup 3 years ago as an 8 seed..They weren't the best team that year..

Lucky puck bounces, or like you said hit the post, or not, and/or a hot goalie and the weaker team win the series.

I know the Kings were better than the Rangers, and at times they dominated. But still a weird bounce of the puck here, a penalty call there, and the series could have easily turned out quite differently.

Again I'm just nit picking..

They were an 8 seed.. They were huge underdogs going into the playoffs...

Sure but they were rhe most dominant team on the postseason bc of their talent and depth not bc of luck.

Any team that snags a playoff berth can get hot at the right time. That's not just in hockey. Probably most prevalent in Football, though that's apples and oranges since they play single eliminate games rather than a series.

Yeah, that's the point... An 8 seed is in no way the best team in the league.. No 8 seed can ever be seen as the favorite.. I mean damn they almost didn't even make the playoffs..

BUT once the playoffs start, anything is possible in hockey.. Hot goalie, whatever...
