I have to agree with Indy on this one. His cheney-boner is completely warranted.

This shit is the fault of Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, and every other slimy political liaison for the military industrial complex as well as the whole wave of late 90's conservative pols turned color commentator. I think you have to throw in long range planners like Kissinger or Brzezinski as well, because the conquest of the Middle East was planned long ago.

This FUBAR is the result of failed long range programme of military aggression.

BTW I just saw a cut of an interview of Cheney on Fox last night. I guess in an Oped piece in the WSJ he said something like no one has been as wrong as Obama about so many things that caused so much harm to so many people..

The Fox reporter actually called him out on what he wrote in the Oped. Asked him how he could say that when he was so wrong about Iraq, about WMD's in Iraq, about us being welcomed in Iraq as liberators, and how his mistakes cost us 4,4000 dead and a trillion $'s.. Cheney answered by just rehashing the lies he fed us in 2003..

He is despicable.

You've gone on at length about how terrible Cheney is. Yet he's not been in office for 6 years and since then we've had 2 Secretaries of State who supported the same war you call Cheney despicable for supporting and not a peep from you about that. Sometimes I think most of the people complaining don't even hate the war, just bush and cheney.
