Bush's problem was that he was a stack of Pringles chips. He popped and couldn't stop himself once he got going. Invaded Afghanistan, then Iraq. TBH Obama isn't fighting the war on terror much differently then Bush did. He hasn't invaded anyone else, but Gitmo is still open, he expanded the wiretapping set in place by Bush, upped drone attacks across the ME region, etc. No wonder real progressives are catching some genuine buyer's remorse feelings right now. Obama was put into a bad spot and IMO regardless of who became president in 2008 they were gonna be screwed.
