so i went to some twins games this year and they installed metal detectors. apparently for the allstar game they installed them and apparently though all parks have to install them for next year

i show up wearing steel toed boots because thats what i normally wear but luckily the "security" gaurd is some old guy who really doesn't give a shit. the 90 year old in front of me is shaking to empty shit out of his pockets -- detector beeps and then he just lets him through. he lets me through too after mine goes off

so hopefully they will just be like that but i am pretty sure that's the only time i will ever get a 'pass'. im gonna be taking off my shoes like the goddamn airport christ

Sounds like the Phillies are thinking that since they swept the Braves and beat the Cards that they don't wanna sell at the trade deadline. What a joke. I guess any time we can string more than 4 wins together the organization will forget out steady decline and delude themselves into thinking it's still 2011.

Just before the deadline on July 28th, 29th and 30th the Mets will sweep the Phils and put to rest any false dreams the Phils have of being a contender. Then they'll sell.
