If someone were to approach you to be an investor before these companies were successful or known, would you have done it at the time?
Instagram: I got a great idea... an app where you can take a picture, put on some filtering, then post the picture online.
GoPro: I got a great idea.. a camera that you can wear, that's waterproof.
Facebook: I got a great idea.. MySpace, except only for college students and with less customization.
Flappy Bird: I took a semester of computer science, and here's a game I created.
Silly bands: I got a great idea... animal shaped rubber bands.
