The chief executive in charge of enforcing all federal laws goes on Jimmy Kimmel and has a laugh about doing drugs. Yup. Bet he had the same laugh when those laws he has to enforce send thousands of men from his own ethnic group to prison for having an eighth of weed. I got a friend who's looking at five years because he sold drugs to make ends meat. Was he laughing then? Let's just keep politicizing the respect of law. You do not separate the two. Political bodies are responsible for enacting legislation as well as enforcing existing laws. A lack of enforcement on something could simply suggest changing cultural attitudes within society that leans towards decriminalization. But acting like Obama himself has the power to both reverse sentencing guidelines as well as appear as an outsider seems nigh impossible to me over here in the land of reality...

Why can't he hold a personal opinion that doesn't comport with existing law? Why can't he talk about past experiences that made him who he is today? Your outrage is odd.
