Why is abortion such an issue in the USA?

All of that ignores the reasoning we've already discussed. If you are getting an abortion because your feelings, you ought to feel bad. You are ending a potential life for no reason other than it being something you, like, don't wanna ddddddoooooo.

That is a good thing. It is a serious decision, not deciding whether to get the pink or blue iPad cover.

No woman is ever going to look at it that way. That's propaganda. I'd ask one, but here we are, a bunch of men, talking about what abortion rights should be.

If men could get pregnant you can bet your ass this issue would disappear. And before anyone does it, yes I know about that freakish pregnant man from years ago or whatever that was, so don't go there.

They should first be shamed for not using one of the half-dozen birth control methods, then shamed for listening to their parents as a teenager, and finally shamed for taking advice from a billboard.

Any normal, mature human being will feel some regret and shame for aborting.

The purpose of the billboard is to encourage use of protection and birth control among sexually active teens (aka all of them)

I'll never feel the shame of aborting you speak of since I'll never get pregnant, but I know women who have had abortions and I never thought any of them should be ashamed of themselves.
