Even if a woman doesn't have immediate access to contraceptives or IUDs, they need to be wise and adjust their sex lives accordingly to include maybe playing single player every once and a while. I not too long ago was in a relationship with a Catholic girl (weird huh?) and needless to say, because of religion she wasn't getting on birth control any time soon. So even though she was my partner and I would obviously be comfortable having sex with her sans condom, Ben wore a rubber for almost 2 years in order to have a sex life with her and not end up with kid number 2.

Well to your point if everybody did that, men and women (or should I say teens too), we wouldn't have to worry about abortion.
So clearly the solution is to make sex ed and contraception easily accessible.
I mean who would oppose that?

Because young people are going to do dumb things like have sex without protection even if we make it available. We should encourage them to use protection but we won't be 100% successful.
