To the topic, I think there's a lot of new ideas, just that none of them are coming from the GOP who, contrary to the article, have been dragging out the same things over and over again for decades. Like trickle-down economics.
Unfortunately, whatever new ideas the Dems may have they never seem to do anything with; i.e., lack the political will to push forward. And I would guess this is because any new ideas that threaten the status quo of all their contributors--good or not--will die.
But party of new ideas, exploding on the scene like punk? LMFAO.
Love how he only cites the Ramones, who weren't even considered punk at the time because it didn't exist. They certainly opened the door to punk, but I'd say the Sex Pistols were the first punk band that anybody heard about.
