honestly those countries need to fragment. give kurdistan independence, split iraq into sunni and shia, give armenia its land back, split eastern turkey from western turkey, divide up syria or just give the sunnis their own place. let libya go back to being a tribal confederacy.

iraqi kurdistan is defacto independent, de jure autonomous, and they're holding a referendum to secede soon with the support of turkey and there is literally nothing the iraqi government can do to stop it short of petitioning for help from a competent country, which won't happen.
