I've been a critic of the MIC for many, many moons now. And I know you think all the evil in the world, starts and is centered around the USA, but I am of the opinion that there are dangers and SOB's out there that we can't control..
Putin is one of those dangers. Should we shoot a plane down? No, We never did before, nor should we now. But Putin is longing for the days of the old USSR, and that needs to be realized.

I think it's funny how after centuries of authoritarian leaders, the West expects a clean break from the past. Putin represents nothing more than the political pendulum swinging back after Yeltsin.
