It's pretty amazing that in this country when we spend tax dollars on Americans--i.e., the citizens--people scream bloody murder but when we blow trillions to try and nation-build other countries with spectacularly failing results, nobody asks to look at the bill.

BTW you're spot-on about a thing that just occurred to me recently: the economy stagnates when you don't have consumers out there spending money. We lie to ourselves that our economy is strong when we give all the wealth to "job creators" who in reality just offshore it or sit on it.

why incentivize people to do unnecessary work?

it would be far superior to incentivize them to get creative with their time. and making this financially feasible is the first step toward doing so.

but first antiquated attitudes about work have to be abolished
