Well, your town manages to staff a police department full of texans even though it requires them to be able to read and write.

I think they can make it work in Missouri.


To be clear: your official argument is that in a town with 15,000 plus black people, there aren't 20-30 of them who would be qualified to become a police officer?

I don't see how you can do worse than utterly incompetent. At least they wouldn't racially antagonize the population, which is what is important here.

Black people don't want to be cops because by and large the entire justice system beats down on black people. I would never ever consider being a cop or a prosecutor and I honestly don't know any black people who would. It would be like a jew sneaking into the Wehrmacht. I guess you can pretend it's a "service" to your country, but in reality you are just aiding an institution thats going to unfairly persecute your community.
