In 2008 and 2012 I supported President Obama enthusiastically I helped raised money for him and spent about 5 hours a week calling people and so fourth. I realized that he would never deliver on all of his promises. After almost 6 years I have come to the conclusion that his administration is a total failure.
Nobody could have ever envisioned the Republican opposition the simple refusal to support anything the President wanted to do was very unpredictable. However, the President has refused to answer the campaign of "no." The President was and still remains a great Public Speaker I would consider him to have the oratory skills of Ronald Reagan but he has not leveraged them to his advantage. Harry Reid´s refusal to invoke the Nuclear Option until last year and only for judicial nominations way too little too late. The Republicans have had a plan to become the majority party and to invoke their Conservative Campaign of Horror will probably become a reality in this election cycle. Then all Obama will have is his veto pen.
The Democrats need to wake up how long will it be before electors will be selected by House Districts? Then you will have Republican Control of all three branches of Government. Remember that? It helped produce the Global Financial Crisis. The fight in any election is for the middle and Democrats have always pandered to their liberal out of touch base instead of to the middle. With that said the Republicans cater to their conservative base and this is why the average American has had it with politics. I have given up on America and this is why tomorrow morning at 10:30 a.m. I will formally renounce my US Citizenship. I did not support or benefit from the creation of the current debt and I have no intentions of helping pay it back if that ever happens. Had we stuck with the Clinton Budget plan today we would have had surpluses and no US Debt. With that said, Clinton never addressed the Social Security underfunding but we would not be facing the repayment of the debt we have today. I have worked hard for my wealth and I have seen what can happen when you have your money parked in a country that has terrible economic policy. Argentina, and many South American countries have tons of former affluent people living on next to nothing who once were very wealthy.
Americans are way too shortsighted and unless something is done to correct the overspending America in 20 years will be like Argentina a country with a great economic past but is a basket case today. In the 1940´s Argentina had a GDP greater than Italy and had zero foreign debt look at it today. That is your future America. START MAKING TOUGH DECISIONS.
