Jimmy surely you take your daughter or whatever to the old trailer park on weekends (assuming you still have visitation rights after that nasty divorce you put her through, which probably ruined any chance she had of ever trusting somebody and entering into a meaningful relationship)?

i think yellowstone is grander and more important to visit than rome let alone tuscany, and frankly, so is the grand canyon but it's beneath you to take a car trip to go see such everyday american things

many people seem to agree with me, including the much-vaunted europeans... considering i heard german and french combined almost as much as english while i was there. the chinese didn't really say anything, they just scuttled around. rushmore was crawling with them, i think giant sculptures of political figures speaks to them

You cite folks travelling abroad as proof that you don't need to travel abroad?

It has nothing to do with who has the most beautiful natural wonders (though I would argue in favor of the lakes region or the Swiss alps over anything in the US). It's more about engaging with other cultures and experiencing travelling in a foreign country. For me at least. Not to be a douche but it's somewhat hard to explain to somebody who hasn't done it.

it's totally fine to have different opinions btw. I don't think it's surprising to find out we have very different values.

I've driven across the US a few times. Some incredible views. But at the end of the day it really posed none of the challenged or unique experiences travelling in a foreign country does. Sorry this makes you and jim jims so sensitive and insecure but that's the reality as i see it.
