I've heard before that Coors is better where its local. Not my thing, at least like I've had it so far. I like Coors better than something like Budweiser, I guess. But Coors Light is gross. Tastes sour and chalky to me.

That Bell's Brewery 2 Hearted was the best I bought this week..If you can get it I highly recommend picking it up and trying it.. Peaks was good, but not great. Not something I'll buy again.. The LA beer Abita was pretty damn good. I'm going to buy it again. I liked it..

Oh look, another reason to never visit Mississippi.

Over the past decade, the microbrews really blew up in Cali. It's everywhere. Just went to the Long Beach Taste of Brews with over 40 microbrews for tasting. There's a much bigger one around the corner with over 100. Great events, though I wish more food came with them.

I won't doubt Oregon's #1 ranking here, though. Everything I've heard from people I trust says they're slightly above California, so it's fine that they listed Cali #2. San Diego has the best in the state.

yeah from what i know of it it's pretty new and an idea they were trying out (4-packs with paired beers). it was pumpkin flavored, which i usually don't mind, but these are so overspiced it was gag inducing. the porter made me dry heave. it was like drinking liquid cloves.
