The point is that I believe that international law should be observed by Israel, as it should in all conflicts and all actors. A big, unattainable goal that has the peculiar characteristic of being valuable simply by being pursued.
Economic sanctions should be applied and diplomatic penalties pursued.
Saying the law isn't followed isn't a valid rebuttal.

and banks keep doin like they do despite fines. does that mean there aren't laws in place regulating them?

russia is getting worked by the sanctions.
sure it's messier. but it's still law. attitudes like yours are defeatist. i don't buy it.
