They mention other institutions, besides the Supreme Court, Congress and the Presidency? What were they, out of curiousity?

probably banking, public safety agencies, the military, corporations etc i'd imagine

I'd be interested if this trend of lower confidence is universal, or if any sector has made gains.

It's almost impressive to get an approval rating as low as 7%. You have to actively try to screw over people to get the confidence that low, and you have to do it openly.

rating for congress is always low, but ratings for your congressman are high
a much larger percentage european monarchs have lost their jobs since 2012 than representatives will lose in 2014
