It's like you purposefully take a point and then run away from it. You have to consider both good and evil actions when assessing or comparing two groups.
I wager that the US has helped far more people than it has killed, that it has saved more lives than it has taken. Look at the eradication of disease. Look at how your medical technology has improved the lives of billions. How even when you are selfish bastards you've managed to pull billions out of starvation.
Get some perspective. You have to be literally... Ergh... to compare the US with ISIS. Not just because they are completely different in terms of size, ideology, longevity and capabilities. But also because it ignores the simply tremendous amount of good the US has done in it's history.
