There's reckless poor people. There's reckless middle class people. There's reckless rich people. The middle class folk benefit from a credit cushion, and the rich benefit from cash and credit.
Yeah, poverty breeds poverty. It's a socioeconomic catalyst. If you grow up in an area infested with drugs and gangs, and the educational system around you is as much a failure as the community, learning how to save money or break free is tough. Hence why it cycles. Breaking this wall is a very noble goal.
