Income inequality, at a certain point, becomes the real defining factor between a first and third world country. So it's a problem for everyone, not just the people losing out at the moment.

Wage stagnation has been a trend for the last 30 years. Now people are not only dealing with flat wages, but they're paying.more for necessities, because of inflation. It's a serious issue, and I haven't seen any serious solutions coming from anyone in DC. For someone to say we are at third world status, it's obvious that they have never been too a third world country.
