Maybe you're right. One thing about it is it will never go away as long as Arab/Muslims tolerate it/don't do something about it probably, so until they act it's here to stay.

I figure a few years of living under the "caliphate" with these animals and people will have second thoughts about how great this ISIS is--especially if they lived a relatively free life up to that point.

Guess we'll just have to accept this as always part of reality for the foreseeable future.

Let whomever wants to leave and join ISIS do so. With the knowledge that they give up US citizenship and are permanently exiled. The less of them here, the less an unarmed Canadian in a kilt guarding a tomb has to worry.

Some kids get frustrated for a variety of reasons and when enough combine it forms a perfect storm. They have little control over their lives, they feel unaccepted, they aren't getting laid, they work a shitty job (or have no job), they are doing poorly in school, they don't do any sports, they are teased, they are socially isolated.

All of these things combined you have a kid who has nothing, wants revenge on the world and is susceptible to this ideology. Some of this is unavoidable and losers will just be losers. Some of it though is due to a failure of society providing structure, values and opportunities for the youth.
