Succinct analysis nab. The Eagles and Cowboys games this year are going to be very interesting. There's the Cowboys offense that gobbles the clock with 7-8 minute drives and then there's the Eagles who run the fastest offense in the game and don't even attempt to dominate time of possession. And both defenses are over performing thus far.

Yeah, thing about Chip is that he seems perfectly willing to contradict any part of conventional wisdom he doesn't agree with and is very irreverent as that goes. So far it's worked out quite well for him, taking a 4-12 team to 10-6 and a division championship in the first year of a new system and starting 5-1 in the second year. I have some concerns about it but to me it's a gamble you have to role with. Chips whole offensive scheme is predicated on a non-stop hurry up assault. If you take that away then defenses will devour his playbook so it is what it is.

And yes Eagles special teams is monstrous. They're on pace to blow away all records on blocked punts and their return game is nasty too. It's probably the most under-reported thing about the Eagles in the media considering how much attention other elements of Kelly's system get.
