the guy wore an emblem that depicted women as sexually available objects
doesn't seem like a big deal to a immature guy but to many women, who are incessantly propositioned and harassed about sex, it seems like a hostile gesture.
Probably this guy is just socially inept, but publicly displaying sexually explicit content in the workplace can be construed as a form of sexual harassment, and rightly so in many circumstances.

Objectification has come to mean any kind of shallow attraction to another person. Its why its so weird that hook up culture is so widely promoted yet the fundamental facet of it is demonized.
