Debasing ones self with licentious turpitude will indeed deteriorate the respect of those around them. That is pretty much inevitable. But in terms of objectification I kind of agree with Comrade that we've conflated the concept with superficial lust. Being physically infatuated with someone and objectifying them does not have to be the same.
