Why are Ferguson protesters so stupid?

That's what this whole "but what about black on black violence?!?!" Argument misses. Black civilian shoots black civilian, there's a murder charge. No paid leave. No months long deliberation about whether to charge. You get arrested and tried for murder, period.

Assuming the black on black crime wasn't between an officer and civilian. As of right now, this issue has been made about race and I think its pretty obvious MB wasn't killed because he was black. Patience to all, it'll be revealed shortly.

Black on black crime and police violence are apples and oranges. Yes, more needs to be done about inner city crime and the breakdown of minority communities in those areas, but these incidents are not comparable to police violence. Police are supposed to protect people, not give the perception that they are there to harm. This isn't to say that all the recent criticism of the police is warranted, but some of it certainly is called for. I am supposedly not allowed to own an assault rifle because it is a "weapon of war," yet the police have them and armored assault vehicles too. What war are they fighting?
