Cops are under the deluded impression that their job isn't safe. It is much safer than most labour or construction jobs, as a matter of fact. Essentially what has happened is we've given a bunch of really expensive and harmful weapons and tools to a group of bleeding vaginas, who have spent the last twenty years projecting their anxieties and weaknesses onto countless innocent people.

the problem is that crime has gone down but media hysteria has gone up. you have no idea the number of people i talk to who don't realize crime is the lowest it's been since the early 70s. most people, because of constant horror stories pumped in to our lives through media, have come to accept that life in america is just a murder or a rape waiting to happen.
