The process is the process. Regardless of your thoughts on its merits, the decision was made by grand jurors after reviewing all of the evidence in detail. It was submitted to every scrutiny and review a felony charge merits and rejected.

Even if you think it's wrong it's not an example of the government protecting its own. The decision should be respected. The protestors should recognize the importance of protections from the government taking your freedom in a criminal trial. That's a universally shared value IMO.

Already got reports of looting, overturned police cards, rocks and bottles thrown at police, etc. Good times. So how long do we wait until the apologists come in here and call police brutality?

i've watched cops get set on fire from molotov cocktails and their comrades behave more rationally than an american officer dealing with a child. there's no doubt they will go above and beyond what is needed to contain these problems and fuel the fire even more.
