I have a friend who is engaged, who lives at home with her mom and dad and she really hits home this point. She has like 25k in the bank and makes like 50k a year and literally cannot get a decent house. She has to choose between paying for her wedding or buying a house. pays $600 a month in student loans, about $600 car note all together with insurance. Not even talking about having kids.
You have to make 100k a year to really play ball in america today.
