I could pretty easily construe the tendency to "get along or move along" as a bad thing, as I'm sure most other people could. All the most important human endeavors require strong leadership - it's fine to open things up for discussion, it's fine to seek alternative perspectives, but ultimately a successful organization depends upon a few key people willing to make a decision, stick with it, and passionately, even ruthlessly, advocate for it.
Human beings were not dragged out of the muck through consensus-building. They were dragged out by large groups of people willing to kill other large groups of people who disagreed with them. For every advance made by consensus builders, there have been ten made by arrogant assholes convinced the entire world is wrong, and more than willing to sacrifice the wellbeing of others to make necessary changes.
If women are serious about being successful, they'll be able to adapt their personality to fit the task, just like men do. It doesn't mean being masculine - it means being confident, assertive, daring, the best of a friend and the worst of an enemy. If you can't do that, you have no place in the world of business and politics. Shit is too serious to be run by people who aren't just as willing to burn a bridge down than build one. There will always be middle management positions available for people who don't have the sack to make tough calls... But that's as high as you'll get, and rightfully so.
