As we move into a post-capitalist society I think we're really going to have to set minimum standards of living, and then let people be free to create from there.
I think most people don't want to just subsist. Most people aspire to better themselves. Having a standard living wage, acces to medical treatment, particularly preventive treatment, education, and health/family assistance would go a long way toward making us a more create, productive, happy, and peaceful society.

Well, Spider and I have agreed on something, and I haven't called him boring yet. So yes, it is a damned good thread.
Sadly, the unanimity of our sentiments doesn't extend past our small little group. And even then there is Menson. f**k Menson.
