Just so you are aware, the viewpoint of social darwinism that you are espousing is informed from an essay written at the time by Thomas Huxley called "The Struggle for Existence".
Mutual Aid; A Factor of Evolution was written in response and totally destroyed the concept of social darwinism at its inception. Unfortunately that concept is ideologically compatible with consumerism, militarism, and exploitation and so became one of the many failed ideas we have used as a basis for our society.
What is indisputable that the result of this development is a highly destructive plague of overproduction that is literally causing a mass extinction event on par with the asteroid strike that wiped out the dinosaurs. So the facts speak for themselves.
