It won't be just savings from not being robbed by the taxman. You won't need a HR department, or a jobsworth health & safety department, you will need a fraction of the accounting staff, you won't be forced to employ a black disabled lesbian to do nothing but sit around to make up the quotas.

Shenzhen is much more free-market than the rest of the country and of course if you cross the border into the even more free-market Hong Kong things get even better.

There's tons of foreign companies operating in Shenzhen who wouldn't have touched China with a ten foot pole before that area was liberalized. You know this Nab; you've worked there.
